One day, Yhoundeh suddenly finds herself summoned to a mysterious temple, where she learns that she is the 'Elk-Saintess' of prophecy who must save the Kingdom of Nyarlaza from the tyrannical rule King Sadogui.

On her journey, she encounters local villagers whose actions both hinder and aid her progress, gradually expanding the ensemble of characters and complicating her mission further.
